Newton‘s Fruit
Project Idea
This project is a physics-based strategy mini-game developed in Unity. Players are challenged to control how fruits bounce across a scene by placing different types of mushrooms at fixed positions. Each mushroom has a unique multiplier that affects the fruit’s jump distance, while each fruit carries its own weight value.
Instead of directly controlling the fruit, players must design the environment and predict how the system will behave. By carefully combining mushroom types and fruit properties, players aim to guide the fruit to hit the target character, Newton.
The game focuses on indirect interaction, encouraging players to think strategically and experiment with different setups. Within a limited time, players refine their decisions through repeated attempts, creating a loop of planning, execution, and evaluation.
How to Play
- Press Q to switch between placement locations
- Press W to change mushroom types
- Press E to start the fruit movement
